Milestones!

Gideon has had two milestones this week. He has discovered the stairs, and he thinks that he can climb them himself. Scary! Also Gideon said his first this week. He said "Elijah." Elijah and I have thought for a little while that Gideon was trying to say Elijah, but on Wednesday it was very obvious. Elijah was so excited!

Poor Little Gideon

Gideon has been pretty sick for the last few days. I took him to the doctor, and he has a fever and an ear infection. He has been trying to be a happy boy, but he is very pathetic. It was good to hear him laugh, even if it was from having the snot sucked out of his nose.

Happy 8 Months Gideon!

I tried to get a few nice pictures of Gideon, but I only managed to get this one. All of the others ended up being shots of him crawling at me...

Pull-Ups!

Gideon can now pull himself up on things! And of course he pulled himself up to his favorite toy...the tv stand. There are just too many flashing lights, he can't resist.

Gideon was very pleased with himself!

Elijah was also very excited!

New Pictures of the Kids

Teeth!

Gideon now has two teeth, and he is excited to use them. He chews on everything! I am glad that he has gotten some teeth because they have helped him accept solid foods. But they have led to he and I having to have some serious talks about how it is not appropriate to bite or chew when he is not eating solid foods! Ouch for the Mama! He is pretty stingy with his teeth, but you can mostly see them in the pictures below...

Bath Seat

Gideon has been able to sit by himself for a few weeks now, so today I decided to graduate him from the bath seat. He loved being able to move around a little more and get the toys that he wanted. Emme thought Gideon sitting in the tub was pretty hilarious since "he my little baby mom, he not that big yet." Gideon is getting to be a big boy, and I feel like pretty soon he won't actually be a baby anymore. But thankfully, I have strong suspicion that my Gideon is always going to be a Mama's boy.

Christmas Tree 2012

This weekend we put up the tree and got out all of the Christmas decorations. The kids were very excited to hang all of the ornaments and set up the nativities.
