Our Little Evelyn

Evelyn is six weeks old this week. The last few weeks have gone by quickly and easily. Evelyn is a very content baby. Thankfully she handles the constant noise and energy of her siblings quite well. Evelyn's personality has really started to show. She is a very happy and very chatty little thing. She always wakes up with a smile on her face. After every feeding she will have a little chat with me. She has a great variety of cooing sounds and she is figuring out how to make the sounds louder and softer (she does surprise herself sometimes with how loud she can be.) She is a good eater and a great sleeper (which makes mommy happy!) Evelyn loves Elijah and likes to stare at him and talk to him. She does well with Emme and will let her hold and snuggle her to a certain point, then as Emme puts it "she just needs mom." Evelyn is wary of Gideon and likes to have mom or dad nearby when he is playing with her. She does like his silly side and it is hilarious to listen to them giggle together. Overall, Evelyn is a fun and happy addition to our family. We love getting know her more and more everyday.
