I went to check on Elijah while he was taking his nap today and this is how I found him. What a goober! I tried to take the book away from him and get it off of his face, but he had a serious death grip on it. After a minute or two of trying nicely to get the book away, I finally had to literally pull it away from him. He opened his eyes, looked at me and said "not nice mom, I reading." And then he rolled over and was asleep again.

I seriously can't even see him in there! Too funny! When we were driving back from Denver, I looked back at Jack and he was sound asleep. Then two seconds later I look back and he's wide awake dancing. A minute later, totally asleep again. The crazy things those little kiddos do!
I love this kid! He just makes me laugh! I can't tell you how many memories I have of you falling asleep just like that when you were little. You were always hiding books under your pillow so you could "read" them to me in the dark. You know that is exactly what Eli will do once Emme starts sleeping in his room. Dude, I totally have to teach him that Feivel song that you love so much. Good times, Liz- that is awesome. "Somewhere out there, beneath the pale moon light..."
That is hilarious. The first picture I felt like it was a 'Where's Waldo' picture. So cute.
