Washington, DC

This last weekend Dustin took Eli and I to Washington, DC for some site seeing. We were able to go and walk around the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. I was very excited because I had never been there and had always wanted to go. We had a great time walking around and looking at all the "bones and things" (that is how Dustin described the trip). In the Egyptian exhibit, they had on display one of the pictures from the book of Abraham. We have these same pictures hanging on our wall that Dustin had painted on papyrus while on his mission in Greece. We also went to visit the Washington Monument. From the hill that the Washington Monument is on, we could see the White House, the Capitol Building and the Jefferson Memorial. We had a great day exploring and enjoying our country's history.
