"Happy Day Emme" with the Tuggles

The kids and I were able to go down to Illinois and celebrate Emme's birthday with the Tuggles. Emme is so funny she has been calling her birthday her "happy Emme day!" My Aunt Monique and her kids were in town to visit as well. She has two girls that doted on Emme and Elijah! It was really great to see all of the Loes! We had a great visit. Emme cried all the way home because she wanted to go back to her Bop-Bop's house.

Emme at 2 Years Old

Emme had her 2 year check-up today. Here are her stats:
Height-32in (23%) Weight- 20lbs (0.45%)

Sir Bounce-Alots

Emme LOVES to jump, so we took her to an indoor bounce house play place. She had a great time. There were these big blow-up slides that Emme was very interested in. She was willing to climb all the way up the ladder to get to the top, but she wouldn't slide down. So I had to climb up there and literally throw her down the slide! She screamed the whole way down. I felt so mean, but once she was at the bottom of the slide she was all smiles and wanted to go again. We had pizza and icees and then played arcade games. Emme had a way fun time.

Emme's Birthday

We celebrated Emme's birthday on Thursday and Friday this week. You would never guess it from looking at Emme, but she loves to eat. So we went to the Golden Corral for her birthday dinner. Then we had her favorite part, the chocolate fountain, as her "birthday cake."

Embry Elizabeth

Embry Elizabeth is 2! It is amazing how fast the last two years have gone by. When I found out that Emme was a girl, I was really nervous. I cried and cried because I didn't think that I could be a good mom to a girl. Elijah had been so easy for me, and so I really wanted another boy. I am so glad that we do not get to pick, because I wouldn't trade being Emme's mom for anything in the world.
Emme is a Daddy's girl. Everyday around 3 she starts hovering around the windows waiting for "Daddy home." Emme is so fun to be around. She is hilarious and crazy! Emme truly is like a little whirl wind. Emme loves to dance and sing and she knows the words to all of the songs on my ipod. Emme is an amazing little sister. She loves Elijah so much! She found a picture of Elijah from when he was about her age, and she insists on sleeping with it every night. It is all crumpled and worn, but she loves it. She loves her "Eli-ah!" Emme has also taken to Gideon. She always wants to make him happy and she has taken it upon herself to make sure that I feed him on time! Emme gives the best hugs! When she hugs you, you can tell she is loving you with all of her heart. Emme is a beautiful girl inside and out. We are so lucky that we were blessed to have her as a part of family for the last two years.

Splash Pad!

We have several splash pads within just a few miles of our house. We have been to one that is a daisy that sprays water, but today we found a splash pad that had a dragon sprinkler! It was very exciting! Elijah loves the splash pads, and he loves running through the water. Emme isn't so sure about the actual sprinkler part, she mostly wants to just run around the outside of the splash pad.

3 Months Old!

Gideon is 3 months old! Time has really flown by! Gideon is still a very happy baby. He loves to smile (non-stop like his Daddy) and he even giggles now, which is hilarious to hear. He laughs like his Pop-pop! Gideon loves Elijah and he will let him hold him until Elijah gets tired of him. He is handling Emme much better now. Emme loves giving him all of the baby toys and he always repays her with a smile. Gideon loves laying on his side, and insists on being that way instead of on his tummy. I think he likes to be able to see what Elijah and Emme are doing better from that angle. He is still a great sleeper and a great eater. Gideon LOVES to talk, and he talks all of the time! He has a deep little voice and when he cries he kind of growls like a cub. We call him a little cheetah cub because he really sounds just like one. It is hilarious. We love our little Gideon. He is a great addition to our family. Gideon has made me very happy and has brought me enormous joy!
