Tonight Dustin and I caught three little stinkers sneaking around in the fridge! Gideon was just as bad as the older two. They all had found something they were going to try to sneak!

Gideon was trying to climb my bed this morning and he slid down and hit the metal bed frame. Gideon the Conqueror now has quite the shiner. Poor little man! 

Happy Birthday Carmie!

My best friend Carmie's birthday is today! Carmie and I met over 10 years ago at our lovely place of work Partypro, and we have talked to or texted each other pretty much everyday since. Carmen made working there bearable for me. Even when we were having a bad day, we still managed to have fun. And I gotta hand it to her because she outlasted me there. Well done, well done! That  deserves a shout out. Holla! Lol My friend Carmie is one of the strongest most determined people that I know. She has been in Mexico away from her family for almost five months. I know that I wouldn't be able to be away from my family that long. Dustin and I have been apart at the longest for 10 days, and I barely made it. Carmen is by far a stronger person than I am. I know that what she is doing is the best thing for her family. My hat is off to you Carmie! You are amazing! I love you! I wish I was there to sing to you, but this will have to do: (I know you can imagine my beautiful voice)  You've had a birthday shout hooray! We want to sing to you today! One year older and wiser too! Happy Birthday (clap) to You!

Gideon turned 10 months old on Saturday!

Uncle Andrew

Uncle Andrew was in Milwaukee for business last week and before his flight home on Saturday he had a few extra hours. So, we drove down to Milwaukee to keep him company. Emme was SO excited to see her Uncle Andrew. And Gideon even let Andrew hold him for the picture! It was really great to see Andrew, even though it was just for a few hours. We hope he gets to come back to Wisconsin for business, or just a visit, again soon!

Two Little Goobers

Our old camera has been on the fritz and acting crazy, so we decided to treat ourselves to a new one. The new camera has a lot of really fun features and the kids and I have had fun taking pictures. I am so lucky to have three such adorable and willing models!

Gideon has decided that he needs to conquer everything! Gideon thinks it is fun to climb the stairs (scary), the toilet (gross) and any toy or container that is bigger than he is.

Kisses From Angels

A few years ago Elijah asked me where the moles on his body came from. I told him that they were kisses from angels, and that the angels must have loved him very much. A few days ago the kids discovered that Gideon has a tiny little mole on his forehead. Emme asked me why the boys had moles and she didn't. I told that just because she doesn't have any now, doesn't mean she won't get some later. And that I was sure that she would. Elijah told her "I guess the angels just didn't love you as much as they loved me and Gideon." What a nice big brother Elijah is! Lol
